Couldn't relate more xx

And when the daylight comes I'll have to go
But tonight I'm gonna hold you so close
Cause in the daylight we'll be on our own
But tonight I need to hold you so close

Hahaha~

Ok so the room beside mine was having a hellava good time banging each other and boy did the girl moan loudly. Tsk tsks...

Finally packed my luggage neatly after a whole day of exploring Hong Kong. It was just hours before that I was operating a 15hr flight back from San Francisco, snoozed a few hours and out w the crew.

It's 2:38am now and I'm so freaking tired so i'mma hit the sack and continue this entry soon. Goodnight!

Just woke upzzz. It's 10:19am and I slept so soundly w my lil Wennie bear. Heh heh... Gonner go shopping l8r on and honestly, I can't keep track how much I've already spent since the start of this trip.

Let me see. It started off w Hongkong last week, had dimsum w the senior crew at the Superstar Seafood Restaurant near the hotel, explored a bit and back to the hotel to snooze for frisco. When we arrived in frisco, we had the supposedly awesome thai food joint in the hotel itself called Smooth Thai but dang, it's overrated! Ok maybe the chef wasn't in the mood that night but I was disappointed after all the raving reviews.

The next day, we had a whole full day of sightseeing in frisco. Had breakfast at the must go breakfast place, Sears fine food. Pancakes, rosti, & yummy egg benedicts. Plus I swear it's like in the movies, with all the seats decorated like how we usually see on the telly. I remembered how it felt so surreal when we arrived in frisco the first night and I looked out of the bus only to see the pretty Golden Bridge from afar all lighted up and the view of rows of shophouses and apartments with those fire escapes by the side and all just like the movies.

Continuing on, we went to Alcatraz Island, which used to be a prison for the convicts who committed serious crimes. Took a ferry over and it was kinda cool being in a prison itself and getting to know the stories of the prison like how some inmates tried to break out and all. Had lunch at the fisherman's wharf! I just love exploring a foreign land honestly. & we got to see fattie seals lazing by the pier. So cute!!! We took a tram back to the hotel area, explored Westfield shopping mall abit before heading for dinner nearby and calling it a day.

The next day was shopping day where we got some stuff here and there and was it my lucky day because it was the grand opening of Victoria's Secret's store in Westfield. My first time in a VS store as well and of course it's every girl's dream. (Especially mine) totally in love with all the items from the bagpacks to the pajamas, fragrances and of freaking course the panties!!! Yes I totally went mad buying all those stuff and gosh, a girl can never get enough of Victoria's Secret, period. Shop away, went to Macy's but there wasn't really anything much there but the Christmas trees were starting to get set up. All kinds of pretty trees and themes, they even had a hippie-inspired tree. Digg it!

One regret was that we weren't able to eat at the Cheesecake Factory itself. It seemed to be ass-packed everyday. But I told myself I couldn't go back without trying their cheesecake so I took a Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake away. No regrets, just love in my tummy. No joke. Can't explain more u need to try it yourself! Live up to it's standards and more (Y) did a lil more shopping and back to the hotel to catch rest before flight.

Reached hongkong yesterday morning where I ko-ed and met crew at 2 before having breakfast at Mongkok. Kway teow soup w beef stomach or something. I love it! And most finally having some Chinese food back in my system felt so damn good rather than having western, burgers and fries the past few days. Walked around mongkok, went to Argyle centre and met a crew's friend where she brought us to have local dinner of claypot rice, crispy oyster or lua, clams, and there was crayfish too but I was worried my allergy might act up and I might evolved into The Rockman from fantatic 4 so I avoided it. Don't usually have oyster or lua too but this one was nice and really good when eaten w ice cold beer.

Dessert time afterwhich. And if u've been hearing how awesome this dessert joint is called Xu Liu Shan in hk. I say fuck it. It's not that awesome la! But this place we had dessert was really good. I'm craving for the muah Chee with mango thingy already... Besides the shaved mango ice, chocolate lava cake and honeydew sago. Spells love all over. Ended the day at avenue of stars and enjoying the breeze from across Causeway Bay.

And here I am typing away on my bed waitin for a day of shopping! Heard that shopping's gonner be good today but thing is I'm kinda down in cash already here. Just hope I have enough!

But honestly, I'm really blessed this trip to be given an awesome set of crew and leaders on board as well as the crew who brought me out and her batchboys who we went sightseeing altogether. Special mention to Amanda, Ginny, Yang, Royston and Gino who took care of me throughout the trip when we're outstation. Appreciate it guys!

Tune in to faceboobs for pictures folks 😄

One more night in Beijing.

"I took the stars from your eyes and then i made a map, and somehow i knew i could make my way back."
Cosmic Love by Florence & the Machine

& so here I am, back in the city of Beijing after a week. It's really dark outside and I refuse to believe it's only 6:26pm.

Went sightseeing in the morning starting with the Forbidden City. Putting aside the history and all which we knew nuts about, it was just interesting to see the palace with my own eyes rather then just seeing it in shows like huan zhu ge ge. LOLOL.

Heading to Sun Dong An Plaza nearby where we just walked the streets and explored into a 食街! A feast for the tummy which was deprived of breakfast! Came across live scorpions, dragon beard candy, huge grilled sotongs, quail eggs, egg rolls, fried ice cream and tonnes more... Forgot to eat my cream puffs on the way out though! And over here in china, translate directly "toufu brains" to mandarin, that's whut they call the Beancurd here. & bought a studded cap which I totally dig la! Happy! :)

Headed to the nearby mall to grab some food for dins and then to the last stop of the day! The Beijing Olympic 2008 Bird Nest! Shall pay a visit inside the stadium one day... & we walked back to our hotel which was just a stone's throw away...

Pictures may be random here and there but I'll just upload to document all the sights spotted!

On a side note, caught a bit of The Voice 3 just now and I love that dude's voice in team Adam Levine. Bryan or something. Aight, shall head back to lalaland in a bit to catch some sleep. Midnight flight back! Fighting!

P/S. can't wait to be home to you.

Some nights.

"and in these moods she wrote, she wrote because there existed a tiny voice inside, screaming and threatening, hoping and wondering. she was forever dreaming and it was getting in the way of her reality."

Got back in the morning yesterday and I spent most of the afternoon sleeping. Woke up still feeling sleepy but I just couldn't stand the thought of staying home and wasting my off day away. Made plans for dins and off I was to pick the girlfriends up for Lelepot. Heard them raving about the steamboat and finally got the chance to try it. From sbw to taiseng to pass town and then to tiong bahru. I don't know where I found the balls to drive so far yesternight since I'm sucha scaredy cat driver.

Finally got to the eating and now I know why they love the steamboat so much. Ingredients are fresh, soup base is yummy (we had the laksa base) and God, I love the mini buns with condensed milk and the dory fish :D recommend ze place!

Funny thing when we were almost done eating, we mentioned about the tearing of coupons for my car and realised we tore 1 hour in advance. We actually reached at 745 and we tore at 9 if you get whut I mean. Thank God no summon personnel came over to write me in.

Went back to hometown to pick the pea up, then to thomson to drop lingerie a visit before heading for supper at Mezzanotte. Waffles! Then we went exploring in an estate in yck before sending them back one by one. Talked in the car w baby till 1ish in the morning and headed home. Ran down all the way from the multi story carpark hahaha and end of story. So happy to see my babygirls even though it's just a short meet up. :)

I shall prepare myself some lunch right now. *waves*

It's so chilly!

So here I am at Sofitel Wanda on my comfy bed where we put up for the night. Been here in the city of Beijing since we touched down around 3ish in the afternoon yesterday & the hotel's kinda a beauty I must say.

Visited the silk market yesterday. Nothing much really and I just managed to get some barangs here and there but I'm glad I've been blessed w lovely people w me throughout this entire round.

An interesting experience was sitting in a motorized bike to the silk market yesternight. It's somewhat like a tuk tuk you'll see in Thailand but this bike's squarish, enclosed and costs 2bucks per person.

Thank God we made it on time to join two other crew for dins at a Chinese restaurant, Huajia Yiyuan, across our hotel where we had a super fulfilling dinner. Most of the pics I took of the food don't do justice to them but trust me, they were fab. I loved it! Moreover, weren't we in PEK so we couldn't have missed out on the "main character" which was our PEKING DUCK! I swear I was smiling from ear to ear and was fantasising when I could eat it again. *drools*

Got up pretty early today. 6ish in the morning. Was watching the videos of my batchmates in my phone and it really made my day. Ha ha... Shall end here. Praying for a smooth flight back to hometown xx

& till I see you again next week, Beijing.

Maybe, baby.

In a span of a week. I've been to Mumbai, and technically into the land of Jakarta and Bali.

Met a nice taxi uncle on the way to work last Friday. We spoke about family, relationships and just life itself.

He said, "We're all human, we all make mistakes, so just have fun. When there's a problem, you can choose to keep thinking about it or just do something about it."

That, I'll keep in mind.

Blessed I am to be meeting lovely people lately. X

Every night

I think of a memory we once shared and cry myself to sleep. You don't know how it feels to feel the way I do. I hug my boxers bear to sleep and tomorrow begins a whole new day.

Simple joys of life

Met up with my lovely girls tonight, just chilling and catching up over a celebratory birthday dins for our dearest Mendoza 💙

Never knew bishan park was revamped to look kinda pretty. Not to mention a cosy spot at Canopy garden restaurant to just sit together and enjoy each other's company. I also love how we can just sit around a seat and talk about our lives under the beautiful half lit moon.

Thank you girls for the wonderful night and I thank God I have y'all in my life.

And happy birthday, Ethel! May happiness come your way, and good luck for your upcoming interview. I love ya!

My heart.

"Always", he said. And that was all I needed.

Friday, August 10, 2012

Heartache;

Is probably the worst thing to ever go through.

Having a thousand and one things to say from the heart but it being void would be the second. And for now, I guess I need a little more than a moment on my own.

You don't know how much this whole thing sucks. With all that's happening around now and having to put my feelings on hold for a few days just slays me inside.

Yknow whut. I guess it's tested proven that whenever you gain something. You lose something in exchange. Story of my life. And whut a price to pay.

Let this blogpost be one to

Remind me to love, to not take things for granted, to be thankful, to accept people for who they are regardless, to always be humble, and to remember to count my blessings each step of the way.

It's like good things come your way when you least expect it and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. & for all that is now, I simply have truckloads to be grateful and contented for. :)
